Two things have helped create the wonderful character of the bar at The King’s Head Inn: the building itself and the people who choose to spend time here. The low ceilings, nooks and crannies are the product of a bygone age and give the place a warm and intimate atmosphere.

Many of our customers at this Cotswolds pub are local and it’s fair to say the term ‘regular’ applies to quite a few. Other people travel from further afield. The King’s Head is a great place to visit for a Sunday lunch, for instance, or a well-deserved drink after a country walk.

Warm yourself by the Inglenook fireplace, order a drink at the bar and sit yourself down on one of our high-backed settle benches. It’s a chance to renew some old acquaintances and perhaps make a few new friends. As you glance around, you’ll notice the meticulous attention to detail. Owner Nicola Orr-Ewing makes sure the details are just right. Even down to the fresh flowers arranged carefully on every table.

Popular drinks include the three lagers we stock from the Cotswold Brewing Company. Hook Norton Best and other real ales are also on tap for enthusiasts, leading to The King’s Head Inn being prominently featured in the Good Beer Guide over a great many years.
